Each individual coming into therapy is valuable, resilient, and capable of healing and growth. I work from a strengths-based approach, looking to help encourage each person's uniqueness and purpose in life. I listen carefully to my clients' inner wisdom, as I believe that each individual is the expert on their world.

We all hold beliefs about who we are--some of those beliefs are positive and motivate us to do what we need to and want to, but some are negative and prevent us from living the life we want. Sometimes we know what those negative beliefs are; we are very familiar with them and feel like we can’t escape them.

The importance of the parent-child relationship is central to the work that I do as a therapist. So much of life and its circumstances create roadblocks in that relationship and I am committed to helping families negotiate those hurdles. I work with the child-parent dyad when appropriate to repair and rebuild attachment and create a safe environment for them to enjoy one another again.
